Skills

Firearms training – You have been trained to use a gun. Perhaps you are an ex-soldier, a police officer, a marksman hobbyist, a hunter or games keeper, a criminal or just good at arcade games. Characters with the ‘Firearms training’ skill can specifically target locations and should shout out what they are targeting (ie “Head” “Left Arm” “Leg”), although anyone can target a specific location if within 2 paces of his or her target. If you shoot at someone and target your shot please try to make your intentions clear while remaining in character (for example “Ha! I’ll put a bullet between your eyes and blow your brains out!” rather than “Head”).

Medical training – You can prevent others from dying (though need someone else to minister to you if you are dying). With the ‘Medical supplies’ equipment and the ‘Medical training’ skill you may bandage wounds and partially heal others (or at least alleviate symptoms and get others up and moving again). Without access to medical supplies you can only try to prevent death but will not be able to heal others or alleviate their symptoms.

Occult knowledge – A player handout is available on-site before time-in. Yes, we are being dark and mysterious. The other skills are self-explanatory, but this one is hidden knowledge. How useful this will be will become apparent in play. You should bring along some paraphernalia, be it tomes of ancient knowledge and black candles or parapsychology gadgets and Zenner cards.

Attributes.

Tough-as-nails - If you do not have the “Tough-as-nails” attribute you start with 4 hit points. Characters with the “Tough-as-nails” attribute have 2 extra hit-points (for a total of 6 hit-points). Characters who during character creation pick the “Tough-as-nails” attribute twice have 8 hit points in total. Someone with the ‘Medical training’ skill, access to the ‘Medical supplies’ equipment and who is ‘Tough-as-nails’ can treat themselves but it takes twice as long. You may pick this attribute twice.
