OC Calls
“Man Down!” – This means that someone has been hurt in real-life and you should stop what you are doing and wait for the situation to be resolved. You should only shout this if you or someone near you is actually hurt. Please do not shout it if your mate has been shot with an imaginary bullet. This call is to alert people to the fact there is a REAL EMERGENCY not an imaginary one.
“Pull Your Blows Damnit!” – If you hear this it means you are probably hitting the other person too hard, possibly in the groin or head. Don’t do this. PLAY NICE!
“Time Freeze” – This is shouted by a ref to indicate that you should stop doing whatever you are doing, freeze in place or near to it as you can get and close your eyes and hum until you hear the call of “Time-In”. We do not envisage having to use this one at all frankly, but it’s still a cool call. We may call a time-freeze if someone is hurt and needs to be moved out of the way of combat, but hopefully you will not hear it at all.
“Time Out” – Stop playing until you hear the call of “Time-In”.
“Time In” – Start playing your character.
“I’m a ref, ref ref ref, ref Damnit!” – Please stop hitting the referee. The shadowy figure that is lurking in the bushes that you just pounced on Rambo-style intending to ninj-out on his arse doesn’t exist in the game world. Please pick him or her up and go about your business, thank you.
