Overview
PLAN C is a low-cost (£15 a head) game running on October 6-7-8th at the Spitewinter Scout Camp. It is rules-light and is set in the modern day. No special kit is needed as you are playing everyday folk who have fled from surrounding areas into the wilderness after a government blockade of the cities. Think "The Thing" meets "28 days later" and you will have an idea. It will be 24hour time in with few OC areas (your dome tents are IC). The only real proviso is that you play ordinary people. Concepts such as drug-addict, doctor, off-duty-police-officer, criminal, web-designer etc are acceptable. Everything (yes, even your sleeping bags) will be fully IC but we will set aside your cars and some area of the site as OC (in case you need to store specialist food/real-life-medicines... etc).
I can't tell you much more about the game apart from its a modern-day survival game that will feel like "The Thing" meets "28 days later".
Obviously due to the nature of the game I can't say too much. You play an every-day person living in the year 2006. Your 'equipment' is whatever you bring with you. I would suggest bringing a larp-safe weapon of some sort (latex baseball-bat, small knife, larp-safe crow-bar) of the sort that an ordinary person could pick up if leaving their house in a hurry. Certain characters may have access to guns. Limited grappling and hand-to-hand fighting is allowed.
It is called PLAN C
It is a very rules-light apocalyptic survival horror.
It is very good. You will like it.
